Terms of Use

Free fitness calculators, guides and product comparisons with a halal focus, and an app that tracks food, water, steps and workouts and builds a workout plan from your answers.

Everything on FitFixLife is general information, not medical, nutrition or professional advice, and it does not replace your doctor. Check with a doctor before you start a new exercise, diet or supplement, especially if you have a health condition, take medicine, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery or injury. See our Health Disclaimer.

The app builds plans from rules and the answers you give. It cannot see you exercise. Use a weight and a pace you can control, warm up, and stop right away if you feel chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath that does not settle, or sharp pain. You choose whether and how to follow a plan, and you exercise at your own risk.

Ask FitFix uses an AI model. Its answers can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important with a qualified professional before you act on it.

We only call a product halal certified when we can show the certificate, and we name the certifier. We do not give religious rulings. Certificates expire and recipes change, so check the label and the certifier before you buy, and ask a scholar you trust about anything you are unsure of.

You must be at least 16 to use fitfixlife.com, and at least 18 to create an app account. Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your data in the app, or ask us to close your account, at any time by emailing hello@fitfixlife.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

You keep ownership of anything you post, such as community entries. You give us permission to show it in the app. Do not post anything abusive, hateful, false, illegal, or that gives medical advice to a specific person or shares someone else's personal information. We may remove posts that break these rules.

Do not use FitFixLife for anything unlawful; scrape or copy large parts of it or use bots beyond normal use; try to break, overload or get around its security or usage limits; or pretend to be someone else. To keep the free tools running, we may limit how often one person can use them.

The design, articles, data, logos and code belong to FitFixLife or its licensors. You can share links and short quotes with credit to FitFixLife. Our embeddable calculators may be placed on other sites with the code we provide. Ask us before you republish more than that. Exercise demo photos come from free-exercise-db, which is in the public domain.

We link to other websites, such as Amazon and partner shops. We are not responsible for their content, prices or privacy practices. As an Amazon Associate, FitFixLife earns from qualifying purchases. Partner links may also earn us a commission. This does not change the price you pay or what we write.

FitFixLife is free to use today. If we ever add paid features, we will show the price clearly before you pay.

We provide FitFixLife “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free or complete. As far as the law allows, FitFixLife is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities, that comes from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top when we do, and for a big change we also put a notice on the site. If you keep using FitFixLife after a change, the new terms apply.
